Overview

Our Foundation partners with Grow-up Smiling (GuS) which to improve oral health for eligible children (2 to 17 years of age), through timely intervention, primary prevention and maintenance strategies specially formulated for children and teens.

This program provides high quality dental care in a safe, fun and friendly environment.

In partnership with a network of local dental providers, this program offers the full range of general, preventative and restorative dental care.  This flexible delivery platform enables onsite dental check-ups at schools, and any recommended treatment at partner dental clinics throughout South Australia.

The treatment schedules and techniques have been built with children in mind. All staff from partnering dental clinics have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, are given special training to help young patients, and have a desire to make sure all patients receive the dental care they deserve.  They also have relevant professional training, police clearances and the equipment required to work in school environments.

The program’s aim is to bring fun to children’s dentistry at a local level, so that kids of all ages can enjoy visiting the dentist again.
